This computational biology project will involve exploring how recombination shapes the evolution of (a) viruses and/or (b) immunoglobulins, to help understand how viruses and antiviral antibody-mediated immunity co-evolve. The student will explore how to characterise and visualise recombination, with a view to developing new techniques; as such, s/he should be highly computer literate.
