The Cambridge BBSRC DTP Partnership would like to congratulate Greg Mellers on the publication of his first research paper entitled: 'Floral trait variation and integration as a function of sexual deception in Gorteria diffusa'.
The paper investigates the levels of developmental integration in the daisy species, Gorteria diffusa. It determines that those morphotypes with high levels of sexually deceptive behaviour have higher levels of integration than those with more generalised pollination strategies. Greg is in his second year as a BBSRC DTP student, currently carrying out his PhD with Professor Beverley Glover in the Department of Plant Sciences.
