We are pleased to advertise a 4-year BBSRC funded PhD Studentship to conduct research in the Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience available from October 2016. The Studentship will be awarded on a competitive basis and applicants will be expected to demonstrate a strong academic background and an aptitude for research. You will join the BBSRC Doctoral Training Program (DTP) which includes training in statistics and systems biology (SysMIC), and two rotation projects in the first year, one in the PhD laboratory and a second in another laboratory providing a complementary research experience (all the DTP rotation projects will be available for the student to choose from). In addition, you will undertake a 12-week professional internship during the PhD.
