Project Title:

Investigating off-target toxicity in RNA therapeutics

Project Summary:

Antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) are a relatively new form of RNA therapeutic which have had recent success in clinical trials and gained medical approval. However, little is still known about the toxicity of these drugs, especially in the liver and kidney where toxicity biomarkers are commonly elevated, which can lead to severe adverse reactions.
