last modified Feb 05, 2018 12:42 PM

Friederike Dannheim and colleagues within the David Spring research group have been invited to compete in the final round of the National SCI/RSC Retrosynthesis Competition. This prestigious chemistry competition only invited 10 teams from across the UK to compete in the final, to be held on 16 March 2018. Most of the teams are industry professionals, so it is quite an achievement to be one of only four university teams invited to compete.

Friederike is a 2017 iCASE student in the BBSRC DTP Programme. She is researching linker technology in the Department of Chemistry with Professor David Spring and AstraZeneca.
