| Epigenetic control of gene dosage in mammals - modulation of genomic imprinting | Genomic imprinting is an epigenetically regulated mechanism that controls gene dosage. Using a novel reporter model the student will either (a) characterize selective absence of imprinting during development (b) contribute to the development of a system for activating epigenetically repressed alleles or (c) characterize imprinted genes in postnatal resource allocation.
