Cambridge Biosciences DTP PhD Programme

 

On 5 December 2025, the SBS Biosciences department hosted its much-anticipated end-of-year party, bringing together students from across the DTP for an evening of fun, laughter, and entertainment.

The event was held in a welcoming venue where students enjoyed refreshments and lively conversation before the highlight of the evening—a captivating performance by Magic Circle magician Michael Pride. Known for his engaging style and mind-bending illusions, Mike, kept the audience on the edge of their seats with tricks that combined skill, mystery, and audience participation.

From card tricks to interactive illusions, the performance sparked amazement and plenty of applause. Several students were invited to join in the magic, making the experience even more memorable. The event was a perfect way to celebrate the hard work and achievements of the year and catching up with each other. 

The evening concluded with smiles all around, marking a successful and enjoyable close to the academic year.
