Cambridge Biosciences DTP PhD Programme

 

The Cambridge Biosciences DTP Symposium took place on 25th July 2022 at Robinson College. We were delighted to welcome guest speakers Dr Simon Cook (Director of the Babraham Institute), Prof Jim Smith (Director of Science at Wellcome), and Dr Luis Miguel Martins (MRC Investigator, MRC Toxicology Unit, University of Cambridge).

The programme included talks from DTP students, poster sessions and an industry round table discussion.

Students' Prizes

Congratulations to:

  • Orla Woodward (iCase, cohort 2018) for winning the prize for the best talk “RXFP4 in the brain - a potential new target for obesity treatment”.
  • Alexander Guyon (SBS DTP, cohort 2020) for winning the prize for best poster “Common signatures of intracellular structures formed by plant pathogens and symbionts”.
