Research
Project Title:
Domestication and genomics of the Black Soldier Fly
Project Summary:
Insect biomass shows promise in improving our threatened global food security. My research focuses on the genomics of the Black Soldier Fly (BSF; Hermetia illucens, L.) and its importance on the world stage as a sustainable food source. Working with agri-tech company, Better Origin we aim to close the circular bioeconomy using sustainable BSF related solutions.
